We are back!

The GB team are proud to bring you Glastonbudget 2013, the biggest and best “fun in the sun” family festival ever. This year we have over 150 acts, from the very best of Tribute to the rising stars of emerging talent, ready to rock your weekend. We are also very excited to bring you an amazing line-up of 80’s chart toppers on Saturday, with performances by The Christians, Heaven 17, Howard Jones and ABC. Glastonbudget goes 80’s retro so get your mullet sorted and dig out your leg-warmers!!

New to GB this year is Friday night Comedy, held in the Charnie Arts Marquee, and hosted by Roadhouse Jamie. Huge thanks to Jamie for bringing mirth and merriment to GB and also to Loughborough College who are providing all the PA and sound teams for the Charnie Arts again this year. There is also a special themed section on Saturday in the Charnie Arts. Check out p62 for info on our Steampunk afternoon. It’s definitely worth a look!! If that’s not enough, we have more diverse traders, more quality food vendors and more thrilling fair ground rides to make this the best weekend of your year.

Our audition venues, The Shed and The Roadhouse, have produced the very best of British and we are confident that there will be something for all across our stages. There are too many to thank, as always, so we will give a big shout out to the Mockstar Massive, you know who you are, and thank all our wonderful visitors who help to make Glastonbudget as special as it is. If you are returning this year, it’s great to have you back. If it’s your first Glastonbudget, you are going to love it. Have a terrific weekend, take care in the Sun, wash your hands, drink sensibly, and remember, if you brought it with you please take it home.
