Go Barking Mad at Glastonbudget With The Dogs Trust
Glastonbudget announces Dogs Trust as this year’s appointed Charity.
Each year Glastonbudget gives something back to the community via nominated charity. This year it will be local neighbours Dogs Trust. Just around the corner from the Turnpost Farm, Wymeswold that plays host to the Glastonbudget music festival, you will find the Leicestershire home for Dogs Trust. This fantastic organisation handled over 17,000 dogs last year across 20 locations UK wide. Founded in 1891 Dogs Trust aim to eradicate the unnecessary destruction of healthy, lively and friendly animals. Some of the stories of the mistreatment of man’s best friend are harrowing, so every penny helps to give a dog a chance at a better life, one with love and care that these magnificent animals deserve.
The Fancy Dress Shop Returns!
Back by popular demand will be the fancy dress shop courtesy of Dogs Trust. The marquee where grown British Bulldog men go in one door and brides with beards come out another will once again take pride of place as you enter the main festival gates. The shop will feature the usual range of clothing items ideal for those like to get in touch with their feminine side or perhaps, want to grab and extra layer if the British weather turns against us.
Glastonbudget Wants You To Go To The Dogs!
Dogs Trust needs your help. Glastonbudget is calling on all of us to pop to our nearest Dogs Trust outlet to give our unwanted clothes, generously. Not only will this aid a great cause but will also ensure an adequate stock of wedding dresses, summer dresses, onesies, ball gowns, etc. so grown men aren’t seen fighting over the last size 14. Fancy dress is a fundamental part of the Glastonbudget music festival fun culture. It’s the festival where you can let your hair down, be the superhero, movie character or dress up in whatever way you’ve always wanted. It’s the festival where anything goes, and everyone comes to do one thing, enjoy themselves.
