STANFORD HILL MOB
The World’s greatest “Gaelicana” band playing OUTLAW with Attitude! STANFORD HILL MOB raised in deepest darkest Birmingham. The Boys and Gals went their own separate ways for a decade or two. Then were thrown together one forgettable Monday three years ago. Since then they have taken the festival scene by storm.
The Stanford Hill Mob consists of 5 musical persons of an experienced drinking age. Blending Gaelic influence bone shaking music with cider and Buckie to create that perfect mix!
John “Banjo Man” Hill shared a stage with Robert Plant. Chris “six string picker” shared a stage with Wishbone Ash, Climax Blues Band and Tony McPhee. Stevie “the Kilted Bass” Barr shared a stage with Pretty Things. Nicky “Harp Queen” Facchino shared something dodgy with Shane McGowan of the Pogues. Singer Rob “HELL” Bent joined the band bringing more attitude to the already mixed up drunken style and together. So, the perfect cocktail of OUTLAW MUSIC was born. So, fill up your glasses, take off your clothes and git-on-down to see Birmingham’s Greatest – The Stanford Hill Mob
They play on the LoCo Stage
