Glastonbudget Dogs Trust Charity Page
Every year Glastonbudget likes to give something back and this year is no exception.
Dogs Trust will be this year’s nominated charity.
Dogs Trust is a UK-wide organisation formed in 1891. Handling more than 17,000 dogs each year rehoming, giving sanctuary, providing advice and looking after all aspects of man’s best friend. The accounts of animal mistreatment are shocking, so every penny the trust receives is employed in ensuring that perfectly healthy and friendly dogs avoid being needlessly destroyed. The charity operates 20 centres nationwide and has around 1,000 dogs looking for a new home at any point in time.
The Return of the fancy dress shop!
Dogs Trust has very kindly agreed to help us bring back an important feature of the Glastonbudget fun, the fancy dress shop. It will once again become the focal point as you enter the festival. Allowing those who wish to slip into a wedding dress, a little black number, or a cosy onesie to grab one at rock bottom prices while doing good for the doggies.
Your unwanted clothes are urgently required!
Dogs Trust has 33 retail outlets nationwide that urgently need your unwanted clothes. Wedding dresses, nightgowns, onesies, wellingtons, hot pants whatever you can find at the back of your wardrobe bag them up today and take them along to your nearest Dogs Trust outlet. You’ll not only be helping a fantastic cause but making grown men euphoric by being given a chance to dress up as they’ve always wanted for one weekend of the year.

Fancy dress is a fundamental part of the Glastonbudget culture. Unlike some other music festivals, Glastonbudget is a family-friendly event where anything goes with everyone attending having just one thing on their mind, and that’s to enjoy themselves. The atmosphere is like no other. You need to experience Glastonbudget to appreciate that the festival goers come to have fun in a respectful manner to all around them. It’s the biggest party of the year celebrating the music of the past, and future.
